Clarke Central High School students, teachers and faculty observed the solar eclipse from the Billy Henderson Stadium on Aug. 21. Attendees were provided with glasses to protect their eyes from the sun and popsicles, provided by the CCHS staff.

Outside of journalism, Conine-Nakano plays on the varsity golf team, plays cello in the Athens Youth Symphony and is the president of CCHS’ Women in STEM club.
