Clarke Central High School’s award-winning ODYSSEY NEWSMAGAZINE offers special subscription rates.  For $12, the ODYSSEY staff will deliver each month’s issue within the school.  If you would like the newsmagazine delivered to your home or business, the subscription rate is $25.

The ODYSSEY NEWSMAGAZINE is a monthly publication containing school, local, and national news, reviews, and opinions.  The ODYSSEY is financially dependent upon subscription and advertising revenue.

The ODYSSEY is consistently recognized on the state and national level for excellence in writing and photography.  In March of 2010, the ODYSSEY was named the “Best Newspaper in Georgia” for the fifth consecutive year by the Southern Interscholastic Press Association.  The magazine was named “Best in the State” as the “All Georgia” publication from the Georgia Scholastic Press Association in 2008 and 2009.  In 2009, the newsmagazine won a “Gold Medal” in the prestigious Columbia Scholastic Press Association Competition.  Also in 2009, the magazine was named “All American” by the National Scholastic Press Association.
